“Lifafe is my first Hindi single & also my first release of this year. Having started my songwriting journey in English, penning down a poetry in Hindi and at the same time making it work musically was quite a task.

 

Lifafe is a poetry describing how some shades of our old love remain with us through all the seasons even after we have parted ways. Even if we move on with our lives, we carry a part of yesterday with us.

 

The song is set alive with cosy guitars & piano arrangement with a jazzy influence which revitalises the essence of the lyrics. Due to the lockdown, all the recordings were done at my house which luckily, added a sense of intimacy and warmth to the sound.”
